Norfolk to Rock Hall Cruise

HALIMEDA, our IP45 sailing yacht departed Norfolk on the morning of July 10th for a 140 mile intermediate coastal training cruise (ASA104) to Rock Hall with three student crew onboard under the charge of Captain Lee Tucker. After a good day's sail, the spent a peaceful night anchored in Fishing Bay on the Piankatank River for a little rest and relaxation and review of the day's activities.

At 1015 this morning, Captain Lee Tucker and crew reported by cell phone that they were in the Chester River with an ETA at Lankford Bay Marina of 1130. All is well with crew and vessel. The crew was in good spirits having all passed their 104 exams. Captain Lee commented that he realized that this was HALIMEDA's last day on her last voyage for the Maryland School.
