As of 1900 on May 13, HALIMEDA was located 29-02N and 70-52W. Captain Morton was in good spirits and boat and crew are fine. The have made good progress so far, so even though they may decide to heave-to waiting for weather to pass, the ETA for arrival in Norfolk is still May 19.

At 1830 EDT on May 15th, HALIMEDA was located at 2903N and 7353W or about 550 miles from Norfolk. They're sailing well and all crew members are doing fine. They detoured to the west for the last two days to avoid the Low pressure weather systems that passed a few hundred miles north of them, and are now turning back to a northerly course toward Norfolk. Current approximate ETA at Norfolk is Tuesday, 5/20 and we should have a better idea of this by Saturday, 5/17.
