I spoke with Captain Jack by satellite phone at 1520 EDT on July 3rd. Position was 3542N and 7344W. They were half way through the Gulf Stream and about 120 miles from Norfolk. They've had good sailing winds for most of the time until now but presently motoring in light winds. They just hooked into a large wahoo and plan for a fresh seafood feast for dinner. ETA in Norfolk is early Saturday morning.
Email from Halimeda at 0900 EDT on July 4th reported all is well and they are currently sailing. Position is 3633N and 7501W or about 50 miles from Norfolk. ETA in Norfolk is late Friday or in the wee hours Saturday.
